From the age of 15, I struggled with PCOS and relied on modern medicine for years. My search for a deeper, more sustainable approach led me to study Ayurveda at the Amrita School of Ayurveda — a decision that changed my life and health forever.
During my first pregnancy in 2013, I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and hypothyroidism. My weight shot up from 68 kg to 136 kg, and I spent my final months in critical care. After a C-section delivery, my newborn son was admitted to the NICU for jaundice and noticeable changes in his skin texture and colour.
Returning home, I faced postpartum blues, severe stretch marks, hair fall, weight issues, and low confidence. My bonding with my baby suffered, and breastfeeding became difficult. Despite searching everywhere, I found no real solutions that addressed my concerns as a new mother.
Using my Ayurvedic training, I began researching and customising remedies for my postpartum challenges. With an Ayurvedic therapist’s support, I followed a structured postpartum care routine that slowly restored my strength, emotional balance, and breastfeeding health.
At the same time, I became increasingly concerned about my son’s changing skin colour, dryness, and texture. With no gentle and effective solutions available, I decided to create my own Ayurvedic baby oil tailored to his needs.This formulation, crafted in 2014, was my first step toward addressing baby skin concerns through safe, traditional, and purposeful Ayurveda.
Soon after using the customised baby oil consistently, I started seeing visible improvements in my son's skin — healthier colour, smoother texture, and reduced sensitivity.This before-and-after change became the most powerful validation of what Ayurveda could achieve. It wasn’t just a product; it was proof that natural formulations, when done right, could bring real results.
With consistent Ayurvedic care, I returned to my pre-pregnancy weight and regained my health. This journey inspired me to study postpartum problems deeply — and what I discovered shocked me: there were huge gaps in support for new mothers.To bridge that gap, I opened my first clinic in the year 2016 exclusively for women in Kochi. Today, we have 4 centres, partnered with major women-centric hospitals, and have helped 20,000+ women through postpartum care, skin concerns, hormonal issues, and baby care.
